How to Use a Disposable Email Address: Everything Explained in One Page

From zero to your first received message
Get and copy your address
The moment you open the homepage, a temporary address has already been generated for you — no click required, no registration. The address looks like a real person's email (name plus numbers), not random garbage, so most websites accept it without complaint.
Click "Copy address" to copy it to your clipboard. Unhappy with the address? Hit "New address" to swap immediately — note that the old address is instantly deactivated and its inbox is cleared.
Paste it wherever an email is required
Registration forms, file download gates, trial sign-ups — anywhere a site asks for your email address, this throwaway address will do the job. When pasting, watch for stray spaces at the start or end of the address; a truncated address is the most common reason mail fails to arrive.
Come back and let mail arrive automatically
The inbox checks for new messages every few seconds in the background. Verification codes and confirmation emails usually appear within seconds to a minute. You'll see an on-screen notification. If you're in a hurry, the manual refresh button is in the top right corner of the inbox.
The message list shows the sender, subject, and time for each email: unread messages have a green dot, and the total count is displayed at the top.
Read the body and view images
Click any message to open the detail view: HTML bodies render at full fidelity and inline images display normally. Opening a message marks it as read. Note that the disposable inbox does not store file attachments — switch to alias forwarding if you need to receive them. Delete messages you no longer need — deletions are permanent, so save anything important first.
Quick note: the "Demo" labelled messages in a fresh inbox are only there to show you what an arriving email looks like. They're not real messages; deleting them has no effect whatsoever.
Lifetime rules
3 hours to start, up to 24 hours total
A live second-by-second countdown is always visible. Click "Extend 3 hours" before it runs out.
There is one hard rule: no matter how many extensions you use, each address has an absolute 24-hour lifespan from the moment it was created. Once it hits that ceiling, no further extensions are possible and the page will tell you clearly — just get a fresh address and carry on.
Cross-device recovery
Reload, close the tab, switch devices — your inbox stays put
When an address is generated, access credentials are written to both the URL parameters and your browser's local storage — two keys covering three scenarios.
Same browser: auto-restore
Reload the page, close and reopen the tab — local storage brings you straight back to your inbox with every message intact.
Different device: the URL is the key
Copy the full URL (including the query string) to your phone or another computer. As long as the address has not expired, you'll open the same inbox. The URL takes priority over local storage when both are present.
Both expired: a new address is ready
If both the URL and local storage credentials are gone or invalid, the system does not throw an error — it simply generates a fresh address so you can keep going.
The URL equals the key: anyone who has the link can open your inbox for as long as the address is alive. Only share it across your own devices. If you suspect a link has been leaked, click "New address" — the old URL is invalidated immediately.
