    Listening for new mail…

    Message content appears here

Click any message on the left to read the full body and view images — no page reload needed.

    How it works

Three steps to your first email

No barrier, no wait. The whole process takes under a minute.

    Copy your address

An address is generated the moment the page loads — nothing to click, nothing to fill in. Hit "Copy address" and you're done. Don't like it? Swap for another instantly.

Paste it where an email is needed

Sign-up forms, file download gates, trial registrations — wherever a site asks for your email, paste this throwaway address instead.

Come back and wait for mail

The inbox checks for new messages every few seconds automatically. Verification codes and confirmation emails pop up on their own — click to read the full body and images.

    Why Temp77

    Disposable email done right

Throwaway inboxes are not a new idea — but a few details separate a tool you trust from one you use once and abandon.

    Zero friction, ready immediately

No phone number, no password, no form. By the time you finish reading this sentence, an inbox is waiting for you above.

    Mail arrives automatically

The inbox polls every few seconds. Verification codes and confirmation links show up on their own — HTML bodies and images render exactly as sent.

    Cross-device recovery

Credentials are written to both the URL and local storage. Reload the tab, switch browsers, or open the link on your phone — the same inbox is there as long as it has not expired.

    Body only, nothing lingers

Body text and inline images render exactly as sent, but file attachments are never stored in the disposable inbox — switch to alias forwarding when you need them. Mail carrying attachments over 100 MB is rejected outright.

    Built for anonymity

Inboxes are token-gated: only whoever holds the URL can read the mail. At expiry, the address and every message are wiped — no archive, no trace.

    Free, and receive-only by design

Every feature costs nothing. Sending is intentionally disabled — it keeps the address anonymous and ensures the service can never become a spam source.

    Under the hood

The complete life of a temporary address

From creation to deletion, every rule is spelled out in plain sight.

    Second 0

    Address is created

The server generates a human-looking address (a name-and-number combination, not random garbage), with a 3-hour lifetime and a live second-by-second countdown.

    Active period

    Mail arrives in real time

Every incoming message appears within seconds — unread messages are highlighted, and you can delete anything you don't need on the spot.

    Extension

Up to 24 hours at your side

Running out of time before the reply arrives? One click extends the address by 3 hours. Unlike 10-minute-mail services, there is no frantic rush — the hard ceiling is a generous 24 hours per address.

    Expiry

    Permanent deletion

When the timer hits zero, the address and every message are deleted and cannot be recovered. No archive, no backup — exactly what a disposable email should do.

    Privacy promise

Anonymous by default — we never ask who you are

A trustworthy anonymous email tool starts by minding its own business. These four commitments apply to every visitor, with no settings to tweak.

    • We never ask who you are. No registration, no name, no phone number, no identity of any kind. Use it and walk away.
    • Inboxes are token-gated. Each address has a unique access token — if you don't share the URL, nobody else can see your messages.
    • Deleted at expiry, no exceptions. When the countdown ends, the address and all of its messages are wiped from the server with no copy kept.
    • Zero third-party requests. Every font, script, and icon is self-hosted. Your browser does not ping any external service when you visit this page.

    Which tool fits?

    One-off inbox or long-term protection?

Temp77 covers both ends of the spectrum — they complement each other rather than overlap.

Use temp mail when you need "use it and forget it"

    • Signing up for a site you might use once
    • Grabbing a verification code or download link
    • You don't want any connection to your real identity
Back to the top — your address is ready

Use alias forwarding when an account needs to last

    • Newsletters, billing, and notifications you want long-term
    • Isolating mail by source so you know who leaked your address
    • Keeping your real email off every registration form

Alias forwarding: a firewall for your real inbox

Some accounts need to last for years — a throwaway address won't cut it. Create a forwarding alias instead: share only the alias with websites, and all incoming mail is automatically delivered to your real inbox. When a platform starts sending spam, pause the alias and the noise stops instantly — your real address is never touched.

    • Up to 100 aliases per account, with custom or random prefixes
    • All forwarded mail kept in a 30-day online archive, accessible any time
    • Pause, resume, or delete any alias individually with one click

    When to reach for it

Situations where a disposable email address makes sense

Any time you need to receive one message without handing over your real address for life, a throwaway email is the cleaner move.

    Trying an unfamiliar website

Not sure if a new platform is trustworthy? Test it with a disposable address before deciding whether to bring your real one into the picture.

Grabbing a free download or coupon

Many "leave your email for the resource" pages quietly add you to a marketing list. Use a temp address, get the file, and skip the follow-up campaign.

    Developer and QA testing

Need to test a registration flow or email template? Spin up a fresh address in seconds — no test accounts to maintain, no noise in your real inbox.

    Posting contact info publicly

Putting an email address in a forum post or comment? A short-lived temp address catches replies without exposing your real address to scrapers.

    Common questions

Nine things people ask about Temp77

Is Temp77 completely free? Do I need to create an account?

Completely free. The disposable email inbox requires zero registration — open the page and an address is ready. The alias-forwarding feature only asks for a one-time email verification code to log in, no password, no payment, ever.

How long does a temporary email address last?

The default lifetime is 3 hours, with a live countdown on the page. Click "Extend 3 hours" any time to top it up, but each address has a hard 24-hour ceiling from the moment it was created. After that, the address and all its messages are permanently deleted.

Is Temp77 the same as 10 minute mail?

Same concept — a use-and-discard inbox — but far more relaxed on time. Your address starts with a 3-hour window, extendable up to 24 hours. No scrambling to verify before the clock runs out; slow confirmation emails and download links are no problem.

Why am I not receiving emails in my temp mailbox?

Four things to check: the sending service may have a delay; the address might have been copied with a stray space or missing character; the message may carry attachments over 100 MB (server-side rejection); or the platform may block disposable email domains. Try a manual refresh, double-check the address, and if needed swap to a fresh one.

Can I send or reply to emails from a temp address?

No. Every address on Temp77 is receive-only. Sending and replying are intentionally disabled to preserve anonymity and prevent the service from being used as a spam source.

What is the difference between temp mail and alias forwarding?

Temp mail is for one-off situations: ready instantly, lasts up to 24 hours, then everything is destroyed. Alias forwarding is the long-term solution: log in with your real address, create up to 100 aliases, and messages sent to any alias are automatically forwarded to your inbox with a 30-day online archive. You can pause or delete each alias independently.

    Is my temp mailbox private?

Every temporary inbox is protected by a unique access token — only whoever holds the URL can open it. At expiry, the address and all messages are permanently wiped with no backup. For highly sensitive messages (banking, identity documents), the alias-forwarding service is more appropriate.

Can I open the same inbox on another device?

Yes. The access credentials are stored both in the page URL and in your browser's local storage. Copy the full URL to your phone or another computer, and as long as the address has not expired, you will see the same inbox with all existing messages.

I closed the tab — are my unread emails gone?

No. Messages stay on the server until the address expires. Re-opening Temp77 in the same browser will auto-restore your inbox, or use the saved URL. Only when the countdown hits zero are the messages erased.
